I'm obsessed with automation! Finding those repetitive tasks that eat up your day and turning them into quiet background processes that just work. Building websites is just as much a passion. I love crafting clean interfaces and connecting them to the data flows that make days less stressful, information easier to find, and businesses running smoothly.

When I'm not at the keyboard, I'm out kayaking the Salish Sea, researching native species and ecosystems, and exploring the shorelines and forests around Vancouver Island. I'm genuinely nerdy about the ecology here - identifying plants on the trails, avidly looking for examples of our many native orchids, and understanding how these coastal systems work.

I chose blue camas because it's incredibly important to this region's history. For the Lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ nations of southern Vancouver Island, camas was a cornerstone of trade. Crops from carefully cultivated, family-managed, meadows were traded extensively with nations across the Salish sea region and even up the Fraser River. The meadows around what's now Victoria were so dense with blooming camas that some early colonists wrote they couldn't tell where the land ended and the sea began; entire hillsides shimmered blue like ocean waves. That image stuck with me: a plant so abundant and carefully managed that it transformed the landscape.

Clients & collaborators

I work with local small businesses across Vancouver Island, helping teams that value reliability, polish, and measurable outcomes.
